If your background in your Userlookup is WHITE or BLACK drag your images in the appropiate box. If you have a special colour or textured background put your images in the white box. When you are done your shield press "Print Screen" on your keyboard and then follow the instructions in "Step #6".

Please post one of these buttons on your userlookup to give us credit for the shield. You can adjust where the button goes by chaning the top and left numbers in the code.

STEP 3: Please Select the Wording that you want on your shield and move it up into your Backdrop that you have selected

STEP 6: Instructions on How to take a Print Screen, edit your image save it and upload it to a server and then enter and edit the code so it shows up in your userlookup.

INSTRUCTIONS

1) Construct your shield using steps 1-4 until you are happy with it.
2) Now you want to press "Print Screen" on your desktop. Make sure you can see the shield in the middle of your computer screen when you do this.
3) Now open your "Paint" program located in the "Start Menu" then "Accessories" then click on the "Paint" program.
4) Once the Program is open goto "Edit" then click on "Paste"
5) Now you have taken a picture of your desktop and have it in the "Paint" Program.
6) Now you have to crop the image so that only they "White" or "Black" area that you made your shield in is visible.
7) Click on the SQUARE Dotted selection on the leftside. When you put your mouse over it will say "Select"
8) Using your mouse goto the TOP LEFT of the Shield "White" or "Black" area and hold the Left Mouse button down and move your mouse to the BOTTOM RIGHT side of the "Black" or "White" box where your Shield was made. Then let go of the mouse button.
9) Make sure that color inside the dotted lines are the background of your shield ... "White" or "Black".
10) Then goto the Top Menu and goto "Edit" then "Copy"
11) Then go back to the Top Menu and press "File" then "New" (If it asks you to "Save Changes to Untitled" choose "no"
12) Now you have a Blank Screen again but you have to change the size of the working area.
13) Goto the Top Menu and goto "Image" and then "Attributes" and change the Width to 105 and the Height to 170. Leave everything else the same and press OK
14) (NOTE: IF YOU BACKGROUND ON YOUR SHIELD IS WHITE OR ANY OTHER COLOR OTEHR THAN BLACK GOTO STEP 15) If you have made you shield on a black background then before going any further Click on the "Fill with Color" tool goto the bottom and left click once of the black square.
Then left click the mouse inside the 105 by 170 white image. IT should now be Black.
15) Now goto the Top Menu and goto "Edit" then "Paste" then move it to be centered if it is not already.
16) Your image is now inside the 105 by 170 Paint Image
17) Now you can use the same steps as listed in Step 14 if you wish to make the background around your images a different color. Normally the same color as the background of your userlookup so it matches perfectly
18) Now save the image by going to the Top Menu and going to "File" then "Save As" then put in a name for the file Example: image1 Then "save type as" must be changed to GIF or JPG to ensure a small file size. Your done. You image is made.
Now goto one of these sites to upload you image to their servers. They will also give an address to use to put in the code I give you for placing the shield on your userlookup.

Once that is done then put the code listed in Step: 5 into your userlookup in "Profile" under "About Me" ... to get there easily click HERE. You have to edit 2 things.
First where it says "ENTER_URL_OF_IMAGE_HERE" type in the "http://www." address that your image hoster gave you for the image you uploaded.
After that is done look at your userlookup. See where the shield is and note where it has to go up,down,left,right etc.
Then where it says top:284;left:576 adjust these and move you shield so it covers the standard shield totally. Thats it your DONE!
